What is Graphic Designing :

The Process of creating visual contents to for the purpose to deliver a specific message, to project ideas in visual shapes form. In Graphic Designing a designer crafts his ideas in visual contents using Colors, Lines, Shapes, Typography, Size & Scale, and Texture etc.

In this course we will learn how to create or manipulate vertors or rasters images. So, let em explain you what are vectors and raster base images.

What is Raster-Base Image?

The images are made of pixels i.e., bitmaps. Each Pixel contribute to the creation of that specific image. While in raster-base graphics we work on pixels manipulations. If you zoom to end level a raster image will become pixalate and blurry.

example of Raster-base image is photos taken by camera. if you zoom the photo at the end level of zoom you will notice that it is made of pixels.

For raster-base images, editing we use Photoshop, GIMP and etc.

What is Vector-base images?

Unlike raster a Vector-base image is made of geometrical paths & shapes i.e. Lines, Curves, Circles, and Squares etc. Vector-base illustrations ae infinitely scalable.

example of Vector-base image is Logo, Letterhead, Design, and Visiting Cards etc.

For Vector-base images editing/creation, we use CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator etc.

What is CorelDraw :

CorelDraw is vector-based graphics editing software marketed and developed by Corel Corporation, initially released January 1989. CorelDraw is also known as Corel Graphic Suite.

CorelDraw early versions CorelDraw was 1.x, 2.x etc. until today CorelDraw Graphic Suite have issued latest version 2021 on 9th March, 2021.

CDR is proprietary file format for CorelDraw which is fully or partially supported by Adobe illustrator, Corel Paint Shop Pro, Microsoft Visio etc.
